Goodbye Warsaw!
30.08.2010 I left Warsaw and I went to unknown places
of the nothern France. I've already decided to leave Poland before. Monotony,
lack of particular plans for the future, problems in my personal life. The
first idea to participate in the program of Leonardo Da Vinci and externship
in England was misfired by the university and "world crises". Despite of our efforts, this affair
didn't reverberate at the university. I came back to the
clinic to Żoliborz districk, "I love this green żoliborz, fucking
Żoliborz"*

Near my block of flats |
We had the payground in district Żoliborz, also green
lawns with screaming childrens and expensive community shopping centre :). The Gardens of Żoliborz , where I made a walk with pleasure,
the park with ducks, two dance schools and clinic, where I worked (2 minutes from my
apartment by walk). A lot of patients lived near my block of flats.I
miss Żoliborz very much!

France- I've decided one day- this is the country
where I can easily find some job in my profession. One day I was learning by heart of the french
vocabulary between treatments of the patients and one lady proposed me a
tutorial." I lived 10 years in Paris"- she said.Since that time I had
been learning 6 hours par week. It gave me the wild pleasure. I had been
discovering this language, absorbing it. Since my time of my high
school I could't have imagined that I would ever like french. During couple of
months I found a job's offer, which was already advertised by other polish
girl who had been already working in the hospital in Nord Pas de Calais. I passed an interview through the phone mixing French with English. Soon, I left
my beloved Warsaw and with the heart under my throat and two big suitcases I
went to Lille by bus.
I was really afraid. I had any confirmation that I will be hire in the hospital. I asked my boyfriend to come with me. I came on Thursday and on Friday I started to make a rehabilitation of the french patient.
On Sunday at the train station in Dunkerque I said goodbye to my boyfriend. In the evening I left alone in a big apartment. After that weekend my life turn upside down. Suddenly from the big city I came to the french village with spooky and ghostly hospital which looked like "Shutter Island" next to the beach and North Sea. Without a car, without a family and friends, soon after breakup with my boyfriend, in a foreign environment, foreign culture and in language I should have faced up my reality.
The North Sea appeared foreign and very cold.
Weather windy and unsettled. On the giant beaches strange seashells, the
skeletons of the crabs, gigantic jellyfishes and starfishes.
* Lyrics of the famous polish song titled "Warszawa" in polish "Warsaw", performer- T. Love
